NIck
Co-Host
Paralyzed with decades of a superficial faith, jaded by religion and filled with confusion, Nick Snapp realized he was a “lukewarm Christian,” adept at blending in with the world. Fear of man and lack of knowledge stopped him from taking any risks to follow Jesus. Weary of going through religious motions, Nick learned it’s impossible to seek God with one hand, and hold on to the world with the other, so he decided to go “all in” for Jesus. Nick felt called to a deeper understanding of the supernatural and those who oppose it, and Miracles & Atheists was birthed from this calling.
While Nick likes to geek out about time management skills and Rubik’s cubes, he now enjoys unpacking the tension between different world views of controversial topics. He’s best known as the atypical-engineer host of The Make it Snappy Productivity Show, and all things “snappy.” A native Floridian, Nick now lives in the Raleigh, NC area with his wife and three small boys, whom he loves telling stories to about the miracles he’s seen since learning to step out in faith.

Marcus
Co-Host
Marcus Plating spent his early years abroad in Thailand and Japan but grew up in Washington, D.C., where the nation’s melting pot-shaped his penchant for cultural diversity and love for the country.
He graduated Summa cum laude from the University of MD and studied Finance & Marketing. After rededicating his life to Jesus in his early twenties, Marcus realized all the success in the world was nothing compared to his love and passion for God. This drew him into ministry very quickly and for 20+ years he has maintained a foot in two worlds: business and church-ministry. His ministry work would eventually bring him to Ghana, West Africa where he met his wife, the love of his life.
A passion for the Word of God, love for the Holy Spirit, and the pursuit of truth drive him to invite others to the abundant life found by walking with Jesus. He lives to bless humanity and expand the Kingdom of God. Marcus is currently completing his studies with Dominion Bible Institute and serves as lead pastor of an emerging Spirit-filled church in Raleigh, NC. A bi-vocational pastor, he also works in technology leadership at a data science company in Morrisville, NC. Marcus resides in Raleigh with his wife Vida, and three children.
